S P Å R – utforskar de ofta små och obetydliga lämningar som blir kvar när människor passerat en plats. Vissa är glömda, andra tappade och några slängda. Vad berättar de för oss?

Fotografierna är tagna vid fotovandringar på olika platser runt storstockholm. Varje plats har för autenticiteten besökts endast en gång för fotografering och de bilder som är tagna har tagits helt utan tillrättaläggande. Bilderna har sedan endast bearbetats genom beskärning, justering av saturation, kontraster etc. Inget har lagts till eller tagits bort.

The cityscape is a cauldron of sounds, movement and life. What remains as the human variable is taken out of the equation. Which traces are left when we have gone?

T R A C E S – examines the often small and inconspicous remains as we have gone by. Some of them are lost, some dropped and some simply discarded. What can the findings tell us? What stories do they hold?

The photographs are taken during photowalks on various locations in the greater Stockholm area. Each location has – for authenticity – only been visited once with the purpouse of photograpy. The images are taken as the remains were found. The images have been edited only by cropping, adjustment of saturation, contrast etc. Nothing has been added or subtracted.
